📅 Update — January 10th, 2026
Again I’m a bit late with my latest update…
But I did reach 10K, just like I thought I would — so I stopped running ads and now I’m sitting at a comfortable ~10,450 followers.
I’m still posting cute dog pics and memes. As mentioned before, I’m also mixing in some quotes etc. And I’ve started creating more and more Reels — Canva turned out to be surprisingly handy for that.
But to be honest…I haven’t had a single Reel go viral yet.
Still trying different formats. Let’s see how long it takes until I crack that 🙂 Ah — and btw… new followers dropped quite a bit after I stopped ads altogether.
Anyway, here are the numbers:
No invitation to the content monetization program yet. I got Stars, Subscriptions, and all that — but that’s not what I’m aiming for.
What I really need to figure out now is how to get more reach — without paying for ads.
I’ve heard on several podcasts that good pages make around $100 per 1M views. And since I want this to become a side hustle that actually pays some bills… I’m looking at 5M views per month as my minimum goal.
Probably I’ll need more pages in the niche to ever get there.
But as many smart people who are already successful in this FB game say, once you hit around 50K followers, you should start branching out into very closely related niches.
So… maybe specific puppy breeds. Still figuring that part out 🙂 or will figure it out once there …
