๐ Update โ December 20th, 2025
This week was pretty uneventful โ and thatโs not necessarily a bad thing.
The only real change was the ad budget. I reduced it to $3 per day, and as expected, follower growth slowed down a bit. I had assumed that with 8K+ followers, organic growth would start to carry more of the load.
And yes โ that did happen.
Just not nearly as much as I expected.
So while organic follows (reels) increased slightly, they didnโt compensate for the reduced ad spend. Still, itโs useful confirmation of how dependent follower growth currently is on paid traffic.
Here are the numbers ๐

I also tried to publish more Reels this week and managed to get the total up to three. One of them performed reasonably well, which explains the increase in overall views.
That pretty much leads me to a clear conclusion: Reels are the real traffic driver (views) on Facebook.
Plan for next week:
More Reels. Ideally, one per day ๐
Followers: 8740
Follower growth this week was around 750, which is roughly 100 fewer than the week before โ most likely due to the reduced ad spend. Still, thatโs a solid result. (If you do the math here, it means that for around $ 90/month, I should be gaining 3K followers/month…
Important find: from what I can tell, the Reels didnโt just drive views but also brought in new followers, which reinforces the plan going forward.
Iโll keep you posted. ๐ถ๐
Until next week.
